California Gardeners’ Club, Finchampstead

A friendly club where we hold monthly meetings with a guest speaker on an interesting range of gardening and nature-related topics. In addition, there is a monthly newsletter, two shows a year and a trading hut. Our aim is to share our love of gardening and wildlife together in a welcoming and sociable atmosphere.

Caversham Horticultural Society

We are a gardening club of around 500 members in Caversham. Our aims are to enjoy gardening and to help and encourage others to do so too. We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.

Chiltern Edge Horticultural Society

Your Local Gardening Club covering Sonning Common, Peppard, Kidmore End and the surrounding area. The Society holds evening talks during the winter months and coach trips to interesting gardens during the summer. We hold two flower and produce shows a year and a summer garden reception for members and guests.

East Reading Horticultural Society

Formed in January 1941, we are a friendly group of people with some interest in growing things. We meet once a month, for talks or social events, in St Peter's church hall, Earley. There's a monthly newsletter and we run a trading shed for gardening needs, all for a small annual subscription (currently £3).

Purley on Thames Horticultural Society

The Society operates a small trading store, for members, with a stock of regularly used gardening products such as composts, fertilisers, pest control products, flower pots and a small range of garden tools. Larger gardening items may be ordered. In the spring, discounted purchase of seeds and seed potatoes is available.

Swallowfield Horticultural Society

Provides the normal activities of a horticultural society, including talks (in conjunction with SAHGA Shinfield Allotment Holders and Gardners' Association), seasonal shows, open gardens, plus the annual Swallowfield Show.

Tilehurst Horticultural Association

The THA aims to provide to the gardeners of Tilehurst, sundry goods in realistic quantities and reasonable prices and increase the knowledge of and interest in, gardening in general. Volunteers drawn from the membership run the THA, and provide the staffing of the two Trading sheds. We also hold a series of talks in the winter, normally on the last Thursday of the month, a Summer Show on the 1st Saturday in August and a social evening in May. For full details see our website.

Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association

Promotes an interest in all types of gardening: flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables, open to residents of Twyford, Ruscombe and surrounding areas. We have a Trading Store next to the Health Centre in Loddon Hall Road, publish a regular newsletter and run shows, talks and day trips.

Village Greenfingers

A gardening club to inform, educate and entertain through the love of gardening. We organise lectures, hold annual spring and summer shows and run occasional garden visits. Visitors are welcome at our monthly meetings. As well as an invited speaker, we usually have a small competition.
